This is the first of our regular updates to let you know what we're up to. The way OpusOne plays is to be quite transparent. Our success depends upon people understanding what we do, and us taking on board feedback as to how we're doing. We'll be implementing ways for you to get involved - whether as a prospective employee, business partner, critic or friend. Jump on the mailing list to stay up to date.

As you may know, we're in start up mode at the moment. Which means creating the business infrastructure (structure, finances, plans, materials) that will carry forward the OpusOne vision. The current timeline has us moving into operational mode in May 2004. Very exciting ;)

One thing to say about the current activities is that we're being thorough: OpusOne is a company that is being built to last. We have a grand, bold vision, and that's going to require rigour, integrity and a relentless commitment to both our success and the success of our clients. Oh, and FUN - don't forget Fun!

We have seen the possibility of a world where people are thrilled with the organisations in their life - and it looks great! We're not saying that it's the way the world must be, we're just saying that it looks like a really fun and workable world. Our commitment is to creating that world, organisation by organisation. We've got some really great strategies, which I'll expand on in future updates, that aim to snowball what we're up to. Having said that, our startup strategy is to create an organisation that is rock solid, adaptable and built to last. So you won't see us running into our first client before we can fulfill what we're promising for them.

I want to thank you for your interest thus far - whether I know you or not. Because it's with the interest and involvement of people like you that we will succeed. At Opus One, we don't work, we play. We create our projects and accountabilities as games with rules, objectives and measures.
